Apple launched their new generation of its mobile operating system, iOS 8, and OS X, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. With iOS 8, customers are getting what Apple sayd to be "the biggest iOS release ever." There are plenty of new features - renewed notofications system, iMessages improvements, Health and Home Kits and Handoff functions.
Thanks to Handoff, which lets Macs and iOS devices know when they're near one another, the file-sharing feature AirDrop is now available for inter-device file-sharing will let you avoid emailing or texting yourself photos. One of the biggest news about iOS 8, however, are Apple's Messages app - the most used app on iOS. Messages now contains a feature called QuickType - a predictive keyboard software.
Some of the more exciting new features are HealthKit and HomeKit. HealthKit is an app which tracks your fitness and health data. HomeKit, on the other hand, is not an application but a whole new platform for smart device that is controlling things like garage doors, smart locks, lighting, and temperature. All these new great features are already available in beta for developers from today, and for the public for free this fall.
